I just heard about you on NPR and immediately subscribed to your podcast. I thoroughly enjoy your music. Thank you so much for sharing your creations. You’ve made someone happy today (and, apparently, will be making someone happy every Monday, Wenesday and Friday).
    Keep it up!

    Hey PBear —

    Oye, indeed, my furry friend!

We banjo players aren’t really used to so many changes in tempo much less the freedom that a keyboard can provide. (It’s hard to shift and capo up a fret all at once! Still, a banjo has many more freedoms than a guitar.)

Could you do something in 4/4 time in the key of G? I’m good with picking around D7th and C chords w/the open G and F, which works well w/an E7th and an Eminor too.

Hmmm…the banjo came from Africa…maybe that could settle upon the tempo for us? Perhaps a rhythm of an ocean going ship, rocking across the Atlantic?

Go ahead and hit some minor chords — I dare, ye. After all, no one ever wrote a sad song on the banjo!

    I am awaiting, PBear!

Had “The Speed Of Life” buzzing through the back of my mind while studying for an accounting exam. You might even say that it helped me keep my “balance.”

    Thanks for the inspiration.
